"Golden" is a dark bronze coloured Hare staring out into the heavens featuring a gilded golden ball delicately balanced on its nose. It's a pleasantly simple sculpture designed to encourage engagement and a feel good factor about the beauty of this life. As with most of my work the ideas evolve and emerge through practice and contemplation over time,  feelings plucked from the living of life. The sculpture is a hand painted ceramic with a gold gilded ball and is mounted on a  marble base, it stands at a height of 46cm, length 30cm and depth 15cm. It requires a little bit of assembly as the golden ball sits freely on a stainless steel rod which needs placing in the tube which holds it.
