"The Classical Dreamer" is a sculpture which represents the beauty of the lived in world and a moment in which it is appreciated from afar through imagination. In our lives we are all out there as well as within and I feel there is a need to appreciate the dynamics of existential reality which I celebrate through my art. As with most of my work the ideas evolve and emerge through practice and contemplation through time, like feelings plucked from life experience. The sculpture is a hand painted ceramic and is mounted on a  marble base, it stands at a height of 57cm, length 30cm and depth 13cm.
